Brasschaat Open Golf NV and Brasschaat Open Golf VZW, collectively known as and hereafter referred to as Brasschaat Open Golf, attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and that your privacy is respected. This privacy statement applies to all our current and former members, volunteers, participants in activities, persons who show or have shown interest in our activities, services or products, customers and suppliers.

Why do we process which personal data?

Your personal data will be processed by Brasschaat Open Golf for the execution of the following purposes and legal grounds:

  • Administration of participants in sports competitions (Legitimate interest)

When we ask for your consent for the processing of data, you always have the right to withdraw the consent.

For the above purposes, we may request and/or process the following personal data from you:

  • First name, nickname, last name

We only collect personal data that you provide to us in various ways (e.g. registration forms, forms and contact forms on our website, personal/telephone/e-mail contact,...). We do not collect personal data from third parties.

We may provide the data you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the purposes described above. For example, we use a third party (external service provider) for:

Storing and processing data in the Cloud (via a Cloud Service Provider such as Assist) - Insuring our members, participants and volunteers (through a federation or umbrella organisation, an insurance company or broker)

We never pass on personal data to external service providers (processors) with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement (or the same provisions have been incorporated into the contract conditions).

Of course, we make the necessary agreements with external service providers (processors) to guarantee the security of your personal data.

Disclosure to third parties - recipients

We share personal data with the following third parties:

  • Insurance Broker

Of course, we make the necessary agreements with these parties to guarantee the security of your personal data and to guarantee that your data will be treated confidentially. Furthermore, we will not pass on the data you provide to other third parties (provide other parties), unless this is required and permitted by law. How do we protect your data?

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, use, loss or disclosure (... infringements, loss and unlawful processing...). For example, we have taken the following measures;

  • All persons who can access your data on behalf of Brasschaat Open Golf are obliged to maintain confidentiality
  • We have a username and password policy on all our systems

Should an incident occur in which your data is involved, you will be personally notified in the circumstances provided for by law.

Your rights regarding your data

You have the right to inspect and copy the personal data concerning you.

You have the right to have your data corrected and completed if your data is incorrect or incomplete.
