Golf courses

All golf players are welcome at Brasschaat Open Golf & Country Club. To play our main course we ask that you have a handicap of 36 or lower and that you have a valid federation card. Our junior course is open to anyone who has taken two golf lessons (in a group or individually) with one of our pros.

Local Rules

The following local rules are permanent. Please ask reception if there are any other temporary rules in place.

Hole 7: The 'keep-off-no-play zone' may not be entered. If your ball is located here, you will be given a free drop not nearer the hole.

Hole 8: The drop zone may only be used if your ball has ended up in the (water) obstacle beyond the red posts.

Fixed obstacles:

  • Hole boards
  • Sprinkler heads
  • Publicity boards
  • Benches
  • Ball washers
  • Way markers
  • The 'albatros tile' on hole 8
  • Distance markers

Free drop: If your ball is on the fairway but in animal droppings, you may take a free drop according to rule R16-1b.

Winter greens: When summer greens are in play, the winter greens are considered a no-play zone and must be avoided according to rule 16.1
